Redefining the Vision of Skin Care

Visia Skin Analysis

The Procedure

Today there are so many exciting skincare treatments available and it’s hard to know exactly which one is right for you. From laser skin resurfacing to microneedling, from injectables to PRP(Platelet Rich Plasma) you have a vast array of aesthetic regimens from which to choose.

At Ovosk MedSpa, we make looking good easy with our advanced computer technology. Skin health depends on a lot more than what just meets the eye. VISIA™ Skin Analysis lets us see the whole picture, damage on the surface of the skin as well as what’s hidden below, and is your first step towards skin rejuvenation.  Our skin care specialists begin by taking high-resolution digital pictures of your skin that let us see every wrinkle and pore. We also take special ultraviolet images to show sun damage below the surface. The VISIA system analyzes the images and rates them on several criteria, such as wrinkles, pore size, sunspots, and evenness of color. VISIA can also detect the presence of bacteria on the skin, notorious for causing facial acne. Our VISIA Skin Analysis will also provide a valuable glimpse into how your face will age with and without future treatments. It also compares your results with others of the same age and ethnicity.

The Right Candidate

Who should try Visia Skin Analysis?

Both men and women can benefit from the treatment; it works for all skin types, colors and textures. Anyone who cares about the health and longevity of their skin will do well to undergo the procedure. It is ideal for those with sun damage, wrinkles and fine lines, enlarged pores, acne scarring, blemishes, pigmentation issues and many other skin ailments. Visia skin analysis can also provide accurate data on how dry or oily your skin is, thus helping our team to create a skincare regimen targeted to your strengths and weaknesses.

How Long Does The Analysis Take?

Visia only takes a few minutes in the office. The quick procedure is completely pain-free. No creams, lotions, or solutions are required. Using cutting edge technology our expert aesthetician will use a computerized camera to obtain a clear picture of the skin’s health. Once the Visia Skin Analysis has been completed, the patient will sit down for a one-on-one consultation appointment with one of our experienced aestheticians. We then use your VISIA profile, which pinpoints the areas and specific levels of tissue damage, to plan a precise and effective rejuvenation regimen for your unique needs. We will explain all of the appropriate treatment options to reach optimum skin health. Your initial Visia Skin Analysis does more than illustrate the current condition of the skin; it also acts as a baseline for future evaluation. As time goes on, repeat analysis will be performed to determine if the skin care regime is making appropriate progress, and if any new damage has occurred. Give us a call today to schedule your complementary evaluation to see how the VISIA Skin Analysis can benefit you!
